This collection of short stories stems from a creative project I’ve been running on Twitter since March of 2023. I performed this exercise twice or thrice a week to force myself to be creative and write something fun. There are three simple rules:
1. One person can contribute one word
2. Five words at a minimum become my prompt
3. I have to write a 500-word story, no more—no less, in less than an hour. (Once I begin writing)
I’ve included the five words for each story in the subtitle of each chapter. I attempt to make each story engaging, but cliffhangers happen, and maybe your imagination will spark your own stories.
